How long does an IVF cycle usually take?
A complete IVF cycle generally takes about 4–6 weeks from the start of ovarian stimulation to embryo transfer. The exact duration may vary depending on your treatment plan, response to medication, and whether a fresh or frozen embryo transfer is recommended.
When should a couple consult a fertility specialist?
Couples under 35 years of age should consult a fertility specialist after trying to conceive naturally for one year without success. If the woman is 35 or older, consultation is recommended after six months. Is IVF painful?
